RV MUST HAVES AND LEAVE BEHINDS // Full Time Living [RV LIFE WITH KIDS]

While living in an RV full time with 3 kids and a dog, what are some things we love having and what are some things we wished we left behind?

We'll be full-time in 3 weeks and I'm really thinking of not bringing the printer. Can I ask why you find yours valuable? What sort of documents are worth printing while on the road?

We are trying to figure out what we "need" to take on the road. We are in downsizing mode right now until we hit the road next year. We recently got an instant pot. Glad to hear it is good.

This was an informative quick glance at how living in an RV for a few months helps us all realize what works, what doesn't, and what we really like based on our own personal needs and travel styles. Good point about all the extra sheets though. I was going to put two extra sets in our rig, but realized that only one extra set would be probably be fine. Like you, I figure they would always get washed and put right back on but I wanted an extra set in case we couldn't get to a laundrymat for a week or two I could at least switch them out. Which creates another problem of course because then the dirty set is taking up room somewhere because you certainly don't want to put them back in the bin the clean ones just came out of – icky! Hmmmm – gonna have to rethink that whole thing now – lol.

So hard and emotional to downsize. 😭 But, once it is done and gone you tend to not miss it as ✌ much as you thought you would and appreciate it when you get it 🙏

This is so funny I have a class B Rv and none of this would ever fit. I live more like a suit case kinda life. The RV has all the essentials. I just have to wash my clothes and towels, bedding etc.. once week.
