RV Newbie Mistake | Always Chock Your Wheels

RV Newbie Mistake – Always Chock Your Wheels

RV Newbie Mistake – Always Chock Your Wheels was recorded at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee as Sunset Seekers set out on a wonderful 10 day vacation!

Sunset Seekers details how a failure to chock your wheels could result in severe damage to the bed of a truck or to the front jacks on a 5th wheel. Fortunately, no damage occurred this time but as Mike, one of the Sunset Seekers explains, it was a near miss and could have been a very costly RV Newbie Mistake.

We hope that all of our dear viewers and subscribers will take this advice to heart and Always chock your wheels!

  • The first thing I do before unhooking and auto leveling is deploy my X-Chocks. Love those things.

  • HUA Marine… Glad you got lucky … As a fellow ex aviator you'll be all to familiar with crew checklists… That's the route we plan to go down when we get our fiver along with radio comms…lists n comms seem over the top but if there is self induced pressure …dark night …un foreseen weather; then the calm methodical no bypass checklists will reduce any heartache or wallet ache ….great honest video tho brother…thank you

  • Informative video for sure! Thanks for sharing and I am glad there was no damage to your RV.
