  • Hey Y'all! I spent 38 years cross country OTR hauling various loads and living in a sleeper berth behind the driver's seat in 'big trucks' as we called them ('Large Cars' preferably!)….the first 18 years was in a 36 inch crawl through and the last 20 years in a 70 inch actual walk-in sleeper. The 70 inch had all the comforts of home for the most part….minus a kitchen sink of course….but had television, bed, closets, shelves, etc…sort of a super huge RV where I traveled getting paid! I actually had a 2000 watt inverter I installed so I could cook steak and other meats rather than eat in those overpriced truck stop slop houses they call restaurants. I say all that to say this: I'll be going back on the road full time soon, hopefully, once my settlement finalizes, and, I'll be living in a Promaster Class B camper van. So, everything y'all said in this video was very important to me. Over the years of being stationary since retiring in 2015 I've heard a lot of the same things, but, I really like ya'll's honesty the most! This will be quite the adventure for ME not having all the weight of the trucking industry on my shoulders any longer!…MY schedule, My route, and, MY rules! Looking forward to more of YOUR travels as well! Waving from Houston, Tx! ~Jim~ (PS: is it Wilson and Renee?)

  • So much to consider when you first buy an rv, it can be so overwhelming. Good advice. πŸ‘

  • We bought the felt hangers before we ever started RVing and the clothes don't fall off the hanger but yet the whole hanger (like 1 or 2) falls off the rod when traveling, LOL, so I guess there is no solution to keeping the whole hanger on the rod and it is always the hangers that are holding the pants too, LOL. Makes no sense! Thanks for sharing! ~ Shion and Matthew

  • Great info. We are full time and said we’d never get a Berkey. We now have a shiny new one and I love it.

  • Walkies Talkies are needed at multiple places throughout the state of Missouri. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Peace and Safe Travels.

  • Walkie Talkies are great when you are in areas that do not have cell service such as the UP Michigan.
