We didn’t set out to make an episode about RV Road Trip Tips. (Say that five times fast.) We were simply driving from Ohio to Connecticut, and came up with some pretty good ideas along the way. That’s usually how we prefer to share tips—through real-life situations we think will help others. In many ways, this is one of those “between the episodes” videos. We leave a Harvest Hosts location and make our way to Mystic, CT, via Niagara Falls and Schenectady, NY.
Little did we know that we were driving right into a hurricane that would change all of our plans … But we’ll save that for a later episode. Our timing wasn’t all bad, though. Trish heard about the Wooden Boat Show, and we just so happened to be there on the right weekend. Which leads us to another tip that we should share more often: ask locals or the Chamber of Commerce about any events going on during your stay. The Boat Show was a great event that we got to visit and share, and we could have easily missed it.

What outdoor grill are you using

Let me break it down
Create a strict budget
Become debt free asap
Take control of your ira and
Invest in the market early
Cut taxes by contributions to said ira and don't ignore the hsa contributions.
Personally I prioritized paying off all debt and religiously took that money and invested it. Where?
Conservative mutual funds that accomplished that all important diversification. Then, leave that money alone and let it grow by reinvesting any dividends.
That's basically it.
Oh my gosh Trish, how do you plan meals on travel days? We are leaving for Michigan in 2 days (from AZ). I'm still at a loss at how to do any type of meals. This is our first long trip. We will park in Maryland for a week at our daughters before driving back home. I'm thinking we are totally not prepared for this journey yet.

Is that a 12V compressor fridge? Does it run off of RV battery or Truck battery when on the road. Have been interested in the 12V compressor fridges to run on the road without propane running.
