  • Great job guys, what an awesome team you are. Don't ever let the feminist comments destroy that or get you down. You guys seems to have a great relationship everybody should envy.πŸ˜ƒ

  • Just came across your videos…….They are awesome! We are in our 2nd year of recreational RV traveling. You guys have provided a great resource for us "newbies". Thanks for the detailed descriptions in a fun presentation. Looking forward to binge watching all of your videos. Keep up the great work! All the best from your neighbour's to the North!

  • Speaking of roles: I remember asking my grandmother once about that (she did all the usual stuff people think about when it comes to "roles" like cooking cleaning inside, etc.) and asked her why grandpa did all the outside stuff and she didn't, and she gave me an incredulous look and said, "Why the hell would I want to do that stuff!" OK grandma.
Except her garden. If grandpa touched that, he'd get a spade in the face. and on family get togethers, he'd push her out of the kitchen saying, "I am making my favorite raisin carrot salad!" And grandma stepped aside.
Now that you think about it, they mixed quite a few things, but were also very traditional, and both were perfectly happy with it. Her mother (my great granny) was literally part of the first (and real) women's independence movement, the right to vote. I came from a very "modern" family, and they still had no problems with one person doing certain things and the other doing other things. I never got why people were so OC about "roles" they both never even saw it that way.
And that carrot raisin salad was pretty dang good.

  • Thanks so much for the info! Learned that you DON’T OPEN THE BLACK UNTIL YOU LEAVE! Or I guess until you know you have enough waste to force it! Way to go… great job!

  • Great job erin. I have only just started this past year to hookup sewer connections. We are not full time like you guys so im still slow at doing it. I can do water have done that alway cause like you guys we work together to set up lol…..i asked hubby all the same questions too. You did πŸ‘ great

  • Erin, you did a fantastic job! I don’t understand why people feel they have to comment on a β€œwoman’s job” or a β€œman’s job.” What difference does it make as long as the two who are doing the work are happy with what they do. My husband does most of the outside work and I do most of the inside and we are okay with that. Y’all do your thing and don’t worry about what others think. We love your channel. Keep up the great videos!

  • Just watched your video on hooking up the sewer. We are subscribers and watch and enjoy all your videos. I am a nurse and did notice one thing though. When Erin had on her gloves, she pulled her shirt down twice after touching the dirty stuff. You have to be aware what you touch with your gloves as to not contaminate other things. Other than that thought she did awesome. I'm probably just over reacting because I'm a nurse. It would probably be more important to be aware of contamination when you are disconnecting the sewer. Keep up the good work guys!!

  • She straight used your middle name man!! You know that is like the 1 of the 3 the kids get right lmao!!!!

  • When you hooked up the water, where did you put the pressure regulator?

  • Hey, great job Erin!!! I help set ours up all the time!!! Just one of those things that's gotta be done!!!

  • Love your videos! This one was so helpful. We’ve only been summer camping in our travel trailer a couple years, and my husband always hooks everything up. Erin, you make it look like something I can do. Yay!

  • If you always leave your grey tanks open. When Do you generally close the grey tank off? To ensure you you have flush water for the sewer hose after you dump the black tank. Great video!

  • You guys have such a wonderful energy even doing something like this good job girl!!

  • Erin, you did a great job! I am not on the road yet, but watching you has given me a lot of confidence that I could do it if I wanted to.

  • Great job…πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ and we do the same…I like things my way inside and he like things his way outside. But I can tow and learning to park and do hookups just in case ✌️.

  • Just a helpful hint, not sure if you've said it before or not, I use plumbers tape on the fittings for water… helps cut down on leaks πŸ˜ƒ

  • Simple question from a prospective RV er: why not have an additional PVC pipe attachment that is a 45* and goes thru the hole in the rig? Then you attach the drain hose direct without a bend in the hose. Thank you for your answer.
    Robert

  • Erin you did great with ding hookups. I can tell you both share in the house duties. You both make a great husband and wife team. And you both are a cute couple too. Great job with the hookups. Not sure how I wound have done. It seems easy but hard at the same time. Thank you for this video. Looking forward too seeing next video. Stay safe and safe travels.

  • We horse camp in our big LQ and for 23 yrs I have done all of the sewer and water jobs. Why? Because like Brian I have certain ways I want it done!! LOL. But the hubs sets up the elec pens for the horses AND saddles my boy, so I am a happy camper! Love ur site and channel.

  • She did great. I’m going to have to do this sometime soon 😬 yikes 😳 😱

  • 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

  • I am a nurse, so here is my comment about gloves — you wear them so your hands do not get dirty, but the outside of the gloves will get dirty — so be careful about wiping your hair away or pulling your shirt down with your gloves on. If you end up using more than one pair of gloves — that is fine.

  • We just bought our first RV today! We've never done any of this stuff before and I'm really glad to be able to watch your videos to learn everything- thank you!

  • Good Job, Erin! We have had our rig 8 1/2 yrs and I have never hooked up our sewer, water or power. LOL I don't do the slides either. Hubby wants to make sure they are done right, so those are his jobs. He usually hooks up the power, levels the rig and opens the slide then goes out to hook up water and sewer, if needed (just 2 of us, so if we are just a day or 2, we wait) and I will put down the rugs, set up the kitchen and bedroom and set up the things we pack in the sinks for travel. I am usually starting a meal too. I guess I need to try the water & sewer at least once too. LOL HUGS~Donna

  • not wearing gloves is as bad as wearing sandals when dumping or dealing with the sewer. Great job by the way.

  • Ok, this is hilarious!! And Erin's facial expressions are absolutely adorable!! The mad face 3:03 killed me, reminded me a toddler being told they cannot do something. Excellent first time.

  • I always close the gray valve the last day to save some water in it to use as a hose flush before disconnecting. I also do a long flush in the toilet so there is extra water to help empty the black tank.

  • Great video! 🀣 Thanks for sharing and you did great!
Sewer really isn't that bad at all if you have a routine and keep everything clean as you go.

  • Erin you ARE the woman! Congratulations on a (not as yucky as I thought) job well done! I can’t imagine where the role-critical comments are coming from. I’ve watched most of your videos and your relationship looks pretty egalitarian and mutually supportive to me. I love your banter. You and Brian are two smart as a whip cookies and a great team! πŸ˜»πŸš‹πŸ˜»

  • Love the "silent camera guy". Lol

Also love the looks when when you were asking if she was ready to do the sewage. πŸ˜‚

You two are great. Love you both.
