I wrapped mine with a piece of etrnabond
It would be a nice deal if the manufacturers did this prior to the final inspection to avoid this kind of eventual damage. I'd look for the company that did this as a preventive measure rather than a after thought.

Mines is a 1999 Jamboree GT. I'm having a leak problem as well. Have not pinpoint the exact leak areas yet. But it wets my carpet at times when it rains heavily. This video gives me another view of where else to look for leak areas. Great video..

iTS RAINING LIKE THAT HERE AND MY SON IN LAW PUT PLASTIC COVERS ON THOSE ENDS AND COATED THE FLOOR SLIDEOUTS WE DID THOSE SLIDE SKIES BUT IN NZ TYPE AND IT DOES COVER IT BUT REALLY THANKS IT DOES HELP AND WHERE DO I GET THESE SLIDES FROM
Looks like a trip to a local metal or duct fabrication shop and you could get some nice metal slide "skis" made instead of cheap plastic.

Our Bedroom slide has water getting in. it high up on my fifth wheel. how would we do this?
The bottom line is that water runs down hill and must be mechanically shed. This will always be a point of failure until it is finally designed properly.
