Dude! Genius! My problem wasn’t the valves, but instead, it was a plastic screw-on filter that was right in the same area. The housing had cracked and it was sucking air. I was able to bypass it by removy it, by just attaching the line directly to the pump. That got water working for my weekend and got me out of a jam. Thanks!
I’m a new rv technician and thank you that was my problem also
Thank you so much! It worked!!!
You guys rock! Great video!
Thank you!! This video saved our butts!!
Great information! If not for your video we would still be struggling with this!
I wish this was our problem. Good video. Lynn and Danny
Had exactly the same problem. New trailer, but dealership did not check and I did not know to ask. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much. I couldn't find anything on youtube!!!!
After 3 weeks your video saved us! Thank you!
Thank you Your video help us fix same problem thank you so much.
I was having terrible water pressure issues from all out flows (shower, toilet, bathroom, kitchen). I left the kitchen tap on full and went outside to the pump and played around with the anti-freeze value and the water tank valve. Opened the anti-freeze value and the water tank value together, water pressure went to zero with air introduced. Closed it back up and then miraculously my problems went away. Normal flow again, less noise, pump running normally and shuts off almost as soon as the last tap is closed. I think my pump had an air bubble and needed a burping. Lol I hope this helps others.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I just fixed my issue watching you guys,…never had a motorhome before, going on a trip soon and could not figure out what was wrong…you guys ROCK!!!
I had this exact problem that you just helped me fix. Thank you!
Awesome thanks 👍
Thank you. Same thing happened to us. Your video saved me a lot of trouble.
Great video. It saved our trip and some money. Cause I was about to call a repair guy. We’re at Twin Knobs in Kentucky and it was gonna cost me a pretty penny. Such a simple fix. Thanks
Thank you thank you thank you! I tried that earlier but the pump sounded like it was dying. Then it shut off. I didn’t know it shuts off on its own! Haha…
Thank you x100! Same exact problem on 2018 Forest River XLR Toy Hauler. It’s been an issue for a month. When on city water all is fine. When I’m not connected. No water. I replaced the Shurflo standard pump with a 5 GPM Seaflo model. Shurflo was actually broken and needed replacing After installing new pump, still no water pressure. After seeing your video 5 minutes ago, I walked outside to control panel and turned Anntifreeze winterizing line to OPEN ( I could feel built up pressure being released as I turned the valve from closed position to open ). I walked inside trailer turn on the sink faucet and voila tons of water at very high pressure. Oh my goodness. You solved my problem. I’m going to wait an hour for the hot water tank to heat up and then a relaxing shower. 😊
I am getting water in my system but its sporadic. I think this could be it maybe? I hooked up to city water and it works fine, so I'll see if I have something like this.
Oh my god! Thank you!!!! My first time Boondocking in my new RV and I was having the same issue. I can’t thank you enough for sharing!! Thank you so so much!
Omg thank you for posting this video!!! It totally just saved me!
We’ve all been there! Lol Thanks for sharing!
Your video encouraged me to look a little deeper. I found another valve hidden in the back- a quick twist and I had water! 💦 Hallelujah!
Dumbest video in the history of the entire universe. By the dumbest person in the history of the entire universe!
You are a natural on this fixing thing. Your video is quite helpful in case we will hav disuse on our own RV water pump.
Late response. My question is should all the facets be closed/turned off before starting the pump?? I've seen conflicting vids. Thanks
Thank you! I had this exact problem! RV manuals are not helpful at all. Thanks for posting this!
Life saver!!!
Thanks! This video pointed me in the right direction!
Great explanation. I was searching forever to try to determine where this dang hose was. Ours was under the sink, behind the drawers, but the same color as all the other hoses. Thank you.
