  • I appreciate the clear sequencing with each point in written format on the screen. I really liked that most of the video was action with voice over so I could see what you were describing. I’ve saved this video so I can follow the steps when I winterize my camper in the next few weeks. Cheers.

  • Do I have to winterize my rv if I’m using it in cold weather?

  • Thanks John, I do have a question, after you’ve removed all the water from the RV and you’re adding the antifreeze to the lines. When you go out to the outside shower and spray hose how do you still have water to spray? I just thought it would be pink after a few minutes.

  • Great video, very interesting. I am not into getting a huge trailer and this will help me educate myself on things required to winterize if I ever want to create a way to travel/camp in the winter. Cheers John, thanks.

  • Excellent information. I am never quite sure about the order of the steps for winterizing. Thank you so much.

  • Thanks for making this! I not new to RV life, but felt I needed a refresher course before helping my grandfather winterize his huge, brand new class A! I didn't want to forget something, and be the reason something bad happened over the winter months. Got the job done just in time for a winter storm, that brought single digit temperatures ❄️🥶! I subscribed, can tell you put a lot of effort into your content. 🙏

  • You have to do all
Of this even when it’s parked in the winter?

  • Just finished up following your instructions! Thanks for the clear video!

  • Tonight for the first time we just finished winterizing our 2017 19ft Keystone Bullet in 21F degrees with snow on the ground at 8:30pm EST. Thanks to your easy to follow step-by-step video we were able to accomplish this task with ease and even had fun doing it. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

  • This was great! Thank you for this information and happy holidays 😉

  • Very helpful – very clear and to the point. Thanks very much John!

  • Where can I buy the petcocks you use for the low water drains? I've looked all over my area. The threads on the hoses are not not, they are straight threads.

  • Ive tried EVERYTHING and my antifreeze will not run through the line…..

  • What if i’m using my travel trailer during the winter?

  • Thank you for the video, but also for having a printable checklist. Best RV channel imo.

  • Question: Because of where I live I must store my GeoPro at a storage facility. I've winterized it using your instructions (thanks!). Should I disconnect the battery for the winter? Should I remove the batteries from camper and store in my garage? Thanks for the help!

  • after step 2 regarding the low point drain, (not the hot/cold), after this step, I'm assuming the drain line should be closed back up? It's never stated in the video or the printed steps…

  • Hey, I bought a 2007 Trail light crossover this past year. The trailer is a bit older and I'm not sure if it has a water pump switch like the one shown in this video. Does anyone have any idea where the switch would be located in my trailer? or if it even has one?

  • Very helpful, best video.. I have a question on how can I save this video onto a flash drive..

  • I have a new EPro that my dealer winterized for me before I picked it up. I just noticed that I have no caps on my low point drains. Does this mean I don’t have antifreeze everywhere I should have it? Seems like the dealer messed up, right?

  • New trailer owner- my second winter with it, but never had any idea to do all this. I had to replace toilet parts, kitchen sink parts and bathtub drain. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video!! I don’t want to replace parts again come spring!!

  • great video!! where does one purchase the siphon for the water pump/antifreeze?

  • Thank you, thank you for all your help. On the r-pod 2021 171, the water heater is under the bed boards but the water pump is under the seat board up front under the water pump control panel. I printed up the winterization document and that was very helpful.
Otherwise, your many recommendations are spot on.

  • Hey John – thanks for the video! I winterized my Cruiser MPG yesterday. I used a little under 3 gallons by myself. Question for you – when can I move the hot water heater bypass valves back – now or wait until the season comes back around? Same for the anode rod. I currently have it screwed in loosely. Can that be tightened up?

  • Thank you so much for making the video. It was very well detailed and got me through my winterizing my RV. I will be sure to subscribe and follow with you for more videos that you may have out there. Thanks again

  • Thanks very much John for the good advice. I just did it. i can't wait for spring for your other vidéo "dewinterization" :))

  • Excellent,
Precise and to the point thank you!

  • John great video. Is the Water Pump Siphon line something I can purchase or do I fabricate it?

  • Thanks. Very clear but, as a newbie, a couple of questions: Why blow out all the lines with air if I'm next going to fill them with antifreeze? Can I skip the step of blowing out the lines with air and just fill them with antifreeze?

  • What happens if i dont have the black tank flush on my camper?

  • Great video sir. Thank you for all your efforts putting this together. The video was far better than the instructions that came with the camper.

  • just blow the lines out open all faucets and add pink stuff to traps and toilet all done

  • John, great job on the video i had some questions maybe you can answer. I'm guessing you leave the antifreeze in the tanks for the cold season in storage? What is the best move if i am going on a trip in an area with freezing temperatures. I will be dumping multiple times on this trip, so should I winterize even though I would be dumping my tanks multiple times?
