This guy sounds like Mike Rowe.
What if I bought a trailer used and the valves are possibly pointing a direction, is it bypassed or not and if I turn it the other direction will it be now?
Once we have the lines done? should we put anti-freeze down the grey water, black water, and fresh water tanks?
Thanks for the video. Everything has gone normal except for one thing. I have pressure in my cold water but not my hot. I can only find 1 valve at my hot water tank. I have a 2021 Jayco JayFlight 28BHS.
Put a couple gallons of antifreeze in a 5 gal bucket and you do not have to switch jugs. I
I hope keystone pays you well for doing these videos because I learn something new every time I watch them. Your a good great teacher. You KISS (keep is simple stupid) for slow learners like me. Thank you.
Holy crap you just got rid of all of my anxiety about this process. That was incredibly easy. Thank you!
Thanks just saved me some money. Literally 20-30 min of work 👍🏻 thanks alot
Min I seen his rat tail I had to leave this comment and leave . I cant take him seriously!
Thank you!!!
Do you turn the winterizing valve back to the position before winterizing?
Where do you with the antifreeze thats in the tanks when you dump the tanks? Is there a special area where you have to go being that its antifreeze?
Thanks to this video it took me just over an hour to winterize my Jayco Jayflight for the first time. Great video
Thanks for the video! definitely took the guess work out of winterizing.
Great video but can you please explain what we do in the spring to get the antifreeze out of the system thank you friend
Hey should I pour antifreeze in my fresh water tank? 2021 Jayflight model#267
Is there a kit of some kind to add that extra hose for the water pump? I have a FR Cherokee 26bh and that extra hose/valve doesnt exist. I suppose I could just measure fittings and cut one in myself though
What about black tank flush connection? Blow it out with air ? Mine is a 28BHBE
Did my first winterizing myself this year and this video was a tremendous help. I have a 2017 JayFlight 28BHSW and everything was exact. The only difficulty was getting to that darn water heater as it sits a bit out of reach to turn the bypass valves. You have to be very tiny, skinny and or flexible.
When finished do I need to close the low point drain?
Great video. My wife and I recently purchased a G2 Jayflight. We are in Ontario Canada. The trailer has already been winterized. I am looking for a video that gives a nice step by step re opening tutorial. So basically for the first time going up to the trailer site. Our unit is on a permanent site. So something that runs it down from plugging it in….connecting the water. And most important. All the valves and such to operate and how to flush out the antifreeze etc. That would be awesome! Cheers.
I have a jayco 224bh
As far as the black tank flush connection outside do you recommend putting antifreeze down that.
I was told that the spinners on the inside for the flush would ruin it if water stays in it.
Thank you! I have a 2020 287bhs. And this is the exact walk through I used. Cheers!
I have a 2017 keystone hideout lhs. First year… newbie. I can only find 1 valve on the water heater to flip. Are there other valves that should be flipped??
Hi, can i see a video how to winterize my 2020 28 Jayflight BHS. Thank you very much!
Loved the video… I'm glad you had your support dog with you to help Hahaha. 🙂 Showed this to a friend who is a "newbie" Jayco Jay Flight owner. I just wish my 02 Discovery was that easy to winterize. Great video, Keep up the great work.
Do you have a video on what to do for short term storage (week or two)? I picked up from Hillbilly on 27th.
Great video! Thank you! Just dewinterized my trailer, and noticed that a few of my water supply lines were loose causing some dripping. Is this common in jayco Jay flights? I have a 32bhds. Thanks.
Can you tell me where the water tank is on a 2006 Jay Flight 27 BH? We need to get it on city water, and there's apparently some sort of switch or handle to move, but no information on where that is… Any help very appreciated!
This is the best video I've seen on how to winterize. Well done without any down time in between getting from one point to the next on the camper trailer. Winterizing simplified!
On winterizing our jayco jay flight trailer how do you know if the valves are open or closed?
This was great. My one question is when I'm done do I flip the switch back under the kitchen sink? This is my first time doing it myself and I never remember switching it back in the spring time. Thanks for the info!!!!!
Very very informative video. Thanks
Is there a need to put antifreeze in the fresh water holding tank?
Thanks for the video, this helps alot
The real JR thank you for posting this video it’s very helpful. My only question is everyone keeps telling me to blow all the water out of the lines do I need to or leaving them full of antifreeze is fine? Thanks again your videos are great.
Perfect video. Bought a Jay Flight this year so this was a huge time and money saver. Thank you!!
Thanks for the video – I would have forgotten about my outside shower !!!
I have a sanicon system on my rv. How do I winterize it?
Thanks for the video. Very clear instructions!!
Thanks for this video! Just a newbie gonna do this myself for the first time. One question… what about the black tank flush? Do you just dump a little from the bottle into the inlet? Thanks JR!
Thanks for taking the mystery out of winterizing my Jayco for the first time.
Thank you for making this great video!
Thank you!
Is it that necessary to drain the black and grey tanks after winterizing. They were empty before the winterizing process so there is only a little water mixed with antifreeze. I don’t have an easy way to empty the tanks as I’m doing this at home.
Is there any special process to winterize the waste water tanks or do you just drain the gray and black water tanks after running the antifreeze?
Does the system need to remain pressurized throughout the winter? Or is it
Ok if the antifreeze is sitting in the lines either way
keep the fire content up! sub + like 😁
My travel trailer (which I bought from Keystone) doesn't have the bypass for the water pump. Is it OK to fill up the fresh water holding tank with a couple gallons of antifreeze instead?
