The Great Quartzsite RV Gathering
FIRST…PLEASE BE SO KIND TO SHARE this with all your RV Friends!
Once a year, a town of 3,600 turns into a town of 10’s of thousands in the form of RV’ers from all over the world to park in the desert and have a good time. What draws them to do this? A VERY LARGE RV Vender gathering and sales. This is the place for anything RV. Anything. Want solar? Check. Need awnings? Check. Need a little screw that fits this little ring thingy? More than likely…Check!
They all park out in the desert areas of Quartzsite, AZ. Some in large groups, others off by themselves. But they all come for the great weather and to be part of something very unique that is not an setup RV rally with dues and fees. Heck, you can park for FREE in the desert on BLM land and in this video we show you the different areas and views as well as why they come.

We were down in Quartzsite this past Feb (2016) and thoroughly enjoyed it (sans the crowds – ha). We found our little chunk of Heaven off Plomosa road. We'll be back next year. We drove down from 'frigid' northern Nevada. For those wondering, we have 375 watts of solar on the roof of our trailer and never had a power issue. Having lots of Arizona sun made for a trouble free 10 days. Not sure I'd want to wade into that HUGE crowd though. Parking was tough enough in the actual town with NO RV vendors.
Guy, I'm not generally a fan of non narrated videos but the use of a drone and cool sound track knocked it out of the park! What drone & camera are you using? I have a go pro and a 3DR – solo. All is still in the box and I haven't tried it out yet. I must say the footage is incredible! Thanks for creating such a unique video! The sunset view was spectacular!!!!!!
I am sure the weather is ok but really? I rv to get away from traffic, neighbors too close and over crowed areas.
