Big 5 sells flashlights that are also stun guns. The light is bright and the current is pretty strong. The flashlight/stun gun is also rechargeable. My husband got me one for my birthday. Haven't had to use it but it makes me feel safer.

.. enjoy life folks and stop worrying bout what others are doing, ie. parking to close to you, looking out windows, etc the list is long as my travel itinerary. Tip subscribers dont want to watch a whole segment on RV customs and courtesies from someone that did not write the book on it. Hell you complain about kids being loud or running thru "YOUR" site. that was the final straw of yall in side the rv peeping out the windows and complaining over people and what they're doing. Trust me if in the same park, we will AVOID you as we dont want to be labeled or singled out for farting to loud or lighting a fire and it blows smoke towards your RV, obviously yall get on each other nerves as you're the only couple to drive two vehicles for rving..smdh

Why would anyone bother you guys like that… we have a class A , I don't like the idea of having to stop driving and walk back to my rig just to eat or use the bathroom.. my Blue Bird Wanderlodge has a security switch just over the bed that will light up every single spotlight, docking light , headlight etc on the bus.. never had a problem yet….

I use simply safe at home and love it. So glad to know I can use it when I go full time travel
I had a pull trailer years ago and my husband wasn't home that night due to his work hours I had forgotten to lock my window near my door entrance I heard a noise it had woken me up my chuwawa saw the person that had gotten in and my dog had attacked the person that had broke in he took off but threatened my dog I hurried to see how he had gotten in I quickly locked my window and door.
I remember a construction business close to where I lived that had a signs that said "Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again". They never once had any break-in of their business😅😅
I have the bottom foot of a baseball bat that I usually either have in my car or my wife's car and she has Pepper spray on her key chain. I do have a 9 mm but don't usually carry it. I also have a 12 Guage shot gun for the house and my teenage son has a .410 just encase he is by himself at home. Yes he has grown up with guns and hunts with me and knows not to mess with it unless I m home or there's an emergency. I also have at least 2 knives in all 3 of our vehicles. Love 💘 everyone be safe. Problem with as camper van and motorhome is when you need to survice engine or rebuild engine you have to find some place else to stay.

Those security systems lull people it think they are safe. By the time any police get called your already engage in a life and death situation
I have this fake shotgun i leave leaning against my Rv and a beware of pitbull sign I put a size 15 pair of boots next to the shotgun have not had a issue yet

For those that keep saying these electronic locks can be hacked…. A keyed unit can be broken. Also, i would love to see a real video of this being done, till now i haven't seen one but have seen many doors being pried open and bypassing the lock no matter what lock it was. Locks are to keep honest people honest. I'll take the convinience of the remote lock over keyed lock. Plus, alarm and video cameras make it even better… Plus other means of protection.
There are plenty of solar automatic lights and i love them. There's also Wyze cams that are cheap and easy to use. If no wifi, there are cellular cameras. Overall, you just have to have common sense and protect yourself.

Wasp spray is a good weapon. Shoots accurately up to 22 feet! Aim for the eyes.

Nothing illegal about wasp spray, and it goes in a stream about 10-15 feet. Won't blind anyone…permanently. Works better than bear spray.

Stay out of liberal states like NY, MD, VA, or any left cost state(OR, CA, WA)as their firearms laws are shit.
Exactly correct about multiple theft deterrents. Each additional deterrent creates just one more thing thieves have to contend with. One may not be enough but 2, 3, or 4 makes your stuff FAR these attractive. They'll usually move onto easier targets.

I remember when we stayed at a campground in Miami Florida in Feb 2018, the Amercians wanted to know what made Canada so great… the first thing that came out of my mouth was – hardly anyone owns a gun, unless you live on a farm or you are a hunter. We have no fear walking around anywhere in Canada that we run the risk of being shot. Boy did that statement open a can of worms and a big kerfuffle at the pool. Everyone was so defensive – the next day on Valentines day there was a mass shooting in Florida at a school. Didn't hear a peep out of anyone on the gun issue.
Something a friend told me many years ago, Locks are made to keep honest people, Honest. If someone really wants in they are getting in.

When not in use all of your FOB's should be kept in a metal container to block the transmission of the FOB's radio signals. Test it by going out to your truck and seeing if you can start it. If it says no FOB detected it's working. When about they sell faraday pouches on Amazon like little wallets you can carry.
