The Shawnee National Forest has been great to us as have the sights and attractions of southern Illinois. But our time there has come to and end so we hit the road and are on our way to Illini State Park to see Starved Rock in Northern Illinois.

  • Going back through your videos and watching them again. I can see why you guys are almost up to 100000 subscribers.

  • 💜 Getting to choose where and when you go somewhere and how long you stay is awesome! #goals 🙌

  • Some people just don't know, I guess! So sorry! Bummer!!! 😠😬😡😤😣

  • Hey guys/gals do you use a trail app? You seem to find some awesome places 😁
Love the vids, would love to to know what editing program you both use! Give the fur babies tons of love from all of us out here living vicariously through you 🤗

  • Allstays is the go-to RV app. Can’t believe that you just now discovered it. We’ve been using it for years.
The mis-communication with the RV park is not the fault of Allstays. It seems to be a common problem with RV parks.
    Steady As She Goes

  • David! how many tents have solar? you should have brought up that point…… anyway, i watched your scientific calculations on sizes of solar stuff, i think your panels are fine, because most of the time you will be able to charge and your tight spot is storage, i think the wise money goes on another battery or 2! then you will have a nice cushion…. pay attention to all the time it is sunny and you have full batteries

  • Forgive me if you had answered this question already, but it occurred to me during the opening sequence that you didn't use a weight distribution hitch. With the care and maintenance you show the truck and trailer, you may want to at least research it for future reference, although the weight of your home may make it less necessary… but it looked like the truck dropped a little when the weight dropped on. Just found the channel, have been catching up from the beginning. Drive safe!

  • Couldn't take my eyes off the sleeping kitty. Butters didn't even let Sweetie disturb her,

  • I've seen other state parks that only allow tents to use the water only sites, some with a 110v elect.

  • You totally should have gotten the bacon maple donut. It’s an unbelievably good combination!

  • "Ill a knee" lmao is actually the incorrect way to pronounce it . It's pronounced " A Lie Nye " . I just wanted to let you know that. Good ol' Marsilles Illinois 🙂

  • Dude, David ground turkey tacos make up like a solid 25% of my food some weeks, yum!

  • I didn’t see a weight distributing hitch…do you not use one? We use an “Equal-i-zer Hitch”. Makes a big difference in how well it tows and it’s a lot safer. We have a similar trailer and tow vehicle as you.

  • Really enjoy your videos. I enjoy following you rather than others making "RVing" videos from their driveways.
