  • It seems that the more we hear about other women who have decided to hit the road., we see they have overcome basically their fears and moved on to their happy life on the road. The more I hear them the more I think it's indeed doable. Thanks.

  • Are there any youtube channels about solo women RVers that don't focus on men and husbands?

  • sorry for ur loss and keep up the fight u go for it god bless ya

  • Thank you for this great video! Love seeing these ladies making their dreams happen!!
I am a single senior – had a t@b but let that go after I got my dog. Waiting for a Travato so I can boondock if I wish. So excited!!

  • I just love that older solo women are getting out and living their lives!

  • Love this. However I have been going to mechanics by myself since I was 20 (I'm 45). Mechanics you don't know can and do exploit women. I will always tread carefully. Thank God my son is going to school to be a mechanic!!!!
I am researching this so I can go solo when I retire!!!

  • Love this. EXACTLY all they said. You did some awesome interview here. Thank you! 💗

  • I'm glad these women don't let even their families hold them back, this is clearly good for them- for their souls so to speak.

  • Her Roadtrek looks like mine! I just bought a 1995 190 Versatile. I'm 56 and single so my cat and I are eagerly waiting to be allowed to hit the road in her🍋🚙😻🇨🇦

  • This was the interview I needed! I start my SOLO trips on Monday! My husband is not interested in going but I have dreamed of being free to travel for years, and now here I go! These ladies are very encouraging! Thank you…

  • Great video,! But I disagree with your conclusion that most people are good and kind. This world has changed a lot in the last few years. And man will rip a woman off and take advantage of her just because they want the ego boost let alone extra money they could earn…..women really have to be careful going into these places by themselves if they don't have a man…
Man can be reallllly egotistical and sadistic…I can't explain why but you need another man to go in and protect you from these predators who will take advantage of a woman

  • What inspiring, positive ladies, thanks for great info.

  • How inspirational for women to get out and do it! Thank you for this video I really enjoyed it.

  • Single female or solo female travellers are more common nowadays – and many support themselves via digital jobs or remote jobs.

  • Oh sorry to hear about her loss.. as I happened to see a vdo along with Mr Bill. Best wishes & Happy MOTORING 👍

  • I am looking forward to solo travel in a few months to come…..any advice would greatly appreciate it

  • I agree use caution. My husband & I use to tent camp off in the woods & hike.
We encountered very bad men; on 2 occasions. 2 men while hiking & one @ a rest stop, If he had not had his weapon (Permitted) it would not have ended well. We then only camped in bona fide campgrounds.

  • Having good health, muscle tone, endurance, really you need them all to do this.
I'm diabetic, have sleepapnea, over-weight, low endurance, get tired easily.
At 70 years old, my life style is just not going to change.
So, I am happy just watching those that can do this.

  • Loved listening to these women's stories. Three terrific people who decided not to let anything (or anyone) hold them back.

  • Good video. I am a widow too. I love to camp and don’t mine meeting people. I would like to get class b and have some fun. Be safe. Marie from Washington state.

  • Thank you so much for this video. I am a new subscriber and love your channel. I lost my husband at a young age in 2016. My kids are grown and it is just me. I plan on selling my big house and getting something much smaller. My husband and I always wanted to do RV traveling when he was alive, I am planning on giving it a try once I sell my house. I am road tripping cross country this summer, but it is in my SUV. I think it will be a good test on if I will like being all by myself in a vehicle.

  • I have had mechanics try to take advantage of me with my car.

  • I am getting ready to do some longer term living in a tear drop. My husband died 2 years ago and I am tired of thinking about it and its now time to do it. Thank you for sharing.

  • Yeah if I had a sprinter, I wouldn't sweat the small stuff either

  • these women r so inspiring. i am on the search 4a little rv. its super cheap. than payin 1000$/mo 4some big apt i barely use. since im working 24/7. i spend more time in a car/at work than at home. why not make my car my home.i can move around quicker. &i yearn 4that minimalist life now. all imma do is get a whole bunch of gym memberships everywhere. shower &take my restroom breaks there. &get me a little frig &bed then im superrr goood. I cant wait 2follow in their footsteps thankyouuuu:)

  • Lisa, good for you! By the way, your lovely voice and accent is reminiscent of Kathy Bates….a Southern Kathy Bates. PS She is also an avid RVer.

  • RE: Vehicle repairs. I've had quite a few run-in's with crooked mechanics, even at the dealership. I'd say about 10% of the times I've taken a vehicle in, I've had someone try to scam me. IDK if it's because I'm female, or because they are simply crooked and they try scamming everyone, male or female. In most cases I suspect it's the latter.

  • I lost my husband 2 yrs ago this next Feb. He had spent a year before he got ill remodeling a Toyota Dolphin.our plan was to do a lot of camping the next summer. When he passed I gave the camper away, too many memories and "together" plans. After a year of being solo, I began looking for a camper I could manage on my own. Still looking. My plans? Keep moving and see those sights we had planned on seeing together, for him and for me. Glad to hear there are solo women out there.

  • I am a solo wilderness traveler. The one thing that I would recommend is a PLB, personal locater beacon. If you are in an area without cell service, the unit uses satellite to send SAR, Search and Rescue. It is to be used only in a life and death emergency. I have the ACR ResQLink+ on my person. I am a paddler and backpacker but any remote area without cell service you may need it. Then you can go ahead and take that night hike! You can use a SPOT or InReach to send messages or to get SAR to your location but those come with a monthly fee. The ACR is a one time purchase and replacement of battery every 7 years. I did a video on the ACR.

  • What a great video segment. I grew up camping, if my dad had to work or didn’t want to go, my mom would pack all 4 of us girls and we would head out for our adventure. My husband is not much of a camping person, but this video has given me the insight to maybe venture out on my own for a little. Thank you for doing this video. And safe travels to you and your husband.

  • It was nice to hear that they weren't all men-haters. They all seemed pretty positive about living. I liked it.

  • Great video! I am about to purchase a T@B trailer and will be doing some solo camping. I was quite encouraged by listening to these women. Thank you.

  • This is a great video. I have watched it twice now. I will be going out traveling on my own and it helps to hear other women talk about their experiences.

  • I really loved this. I so much want to get a Class B van, grab a couple of my dogs, and go explore. But my husband would NEVER do this. I never thought about doing this on my own. This gave my dream some wings. Thank you to the ladies who shared their stories, and you so much putting it all together and posting this.
