Love your videos. Looking at truck campers. Thax for your information. Stay safe
In winter, temperatures below zero do the waters of the Camper not freeze?
Stacy sent me✌ great information. I have been looking for years. I want an Arctic Fox 990, or 1172. They seem to be built better and I love the layout! Thank you for the help✌❤
I'd prefer a Class C but thats just me. I wouldnt mind the driving my house every where , my only issue would be where to park overnight, but thats what learning is for. Seriously thinking about making the move to a RV. Great videos, keep them coming
What Timber Ridge did you own? We just bought our first one! 250rds
In campgrounds do you see many TC's? I was curious if campgrounds allow them? I've heard some do and some dont, wondered why?
Yup. Nailed it brother! Truck campers have the most pros and least cons, but account for only 5% of the RV market. 🤔
There are so many choices! In 2018 I chose to buy a newer brand on the market when there may have been better choices. I bought a Cirrus brand truck camper from the company NuCamp and I like it, but I'm thinking of an trading up to the more expensive Artic fox camper. Should I make the larger investment? Let me know, Thanks. My email: rmatheson64@yahoo.com
The only downside I see is your stated mpg. 8,9,10 that is very expensive on road trips eh. I suppose a diesel gets a little better. Don't get me wrong I like your set up minus the cab or missing cab…
I like how you mentioned getting the smallest one possible. I have a 17ft bunk house. It’s so small compared to most we see out there. But!! It F
fits everyone comfortable to sleep. No need to be inside while camping!!
I really appreciate this informative video. I was leaning towards the truck camper because I want to tow my motorcycle behind it. Your vid just sealed the deal. Thanks. P.S. Yes, I'm a solo traveler.
I looked yours but why didn't you get a dry shower) bath.? I see they have a very nice one that is 19ft long. I also think I would put in a composting toilet and have black tank joined with gray. Gives you much more time for holding and dumping becomes easy.
Valid points you made each type of RV has its pros and cons. I lived in Victoria for a few years and it only snowed once. Thanks for info on RV,s
I own a truck camper and a rather large travel trailer. I love them both but if I didnt have to consider the kids and the wife, I would sell the trailer and keep only the truck camper. Love it to death. But because I travel with the wife and 2 kids, unfortunately I am selling the TC until the kids grow up. Once I begin travelling without the kids, I will buy a new TC.
One of the things I really love about my truck camper, as opposed to the 34 foot Motorhome it replaced. I don’t have to register it, license it,smog it, change oil, replace tires, or other vehicle maintenance! If you already have or want/need a truck you can’t go wrong with a truck camper!
If you brought your wife your husband and your boyfriend it would probably get a little crowded and competitive. 😁
The best camper to buy is the one that makes you happy! Personally I agree with you a truck camper is the best for so many reasons different than yours. I’m not a slide fan so I have an AF-865 it has a great layout no slide. The end of the day the most important thing is to be active and get off the couch. Do something that you love with people you love.
You forgot to mention that a truck camper is ideally designed to accommodate a single person. Try the realities of camping in that full time with a wife/family, won’t be long until feathers are ruffled! I’ll take my TT any day!
can you do a truck, camper, weight ratio thing im confused on this issue!
I agree. For 1 or 2 people, truck campers are the best. I’ve had a class A and a small rpod trailer.
Love my truck camper. It has all the necessities of life but it is very mobile and I can pretty much go anywhere with it.
I tour the Canada and the US first in a travel trailer and then a motorhome both outfits bought new – I'm a brit so couldn't stay in either country – but that's another story !
Great video! I think truck camper is better also. If something happens to it you can just get another truck but keep the same camper. In a van camper you have to get a whole new van.
