Wintering in FLORIDA? Top Reasons and Tips. Florida RV Parks fill up fast during the winter. It can be very hard to find a place to RV in Florida for the winter if you wait to the last minute. The peak Snowbird season is January, February, March, April (Jan – May) and there is very little or no vacancy at most of the Florida RV Parks, Resorts and Campgrounds.
Thankfully we booked all of our winter RV reservations for Florida last September and October. So far we have visited the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Thousand Trails Orlando also known as TTO or Orlando RV Resort, Thousand Trails Peace River RV Resort, Thousand Trails Riverside RV Resort and one Florida State Park Campground (Highlands Hammock State Park). We will also be staying at Thousand Trails Three Flags near The Villages and a couple of other Encore RV Resorts (The Trails Collection) this winter in Florida.
We have RV reservations for Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground in the Spring that we can’t wait to video and share with everyone.
We bought our Resale VIP/Elite Thousand Trails Membership from Kimberly at Campground Membership Outlet. If you are looking for more info or to purchase a used, resale or a brand new Thousand Trails Membership then checkout our affiliate/partner links to who we recommend below.

Quote from Dead Poets Society (Robin Williams as Professor Keating)
“Because we’re food for worms, lads! Because we’re only going to experience a limited number of springs, summers, and falls. One day, hard as it is to believe, each and every one of us is going to stop breathing, turn cold, and die!
Carpe…Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.”
We invite you to join us on this adventure and would be honored if you subscribed to our YouTube channel and follow us on social media.
We don’t know what we are doing… but, we are going to do it anyway… and, we are going to do it together!
