Water Filters are made from Plastic and i don't see the advantage I think My Family and I will Tend to be the Filter not drink water full of Plastic particles.
We've thrown towels down to insulate floor in a pinch.
Great tips. I have wodnered if an RV owner could pull a lightweight but very large tarp up and over their rig, and then tie it with guy lines down to stakes in the ground. Just like you might stake a tent down. The tarp need not be so big it reaches to the ground on both sides; you just make guy lines from the corners and stake them down. I believe that tarp would help greatly in snow, ice, icy rain, very cold temps, etc.

HOW TO INSULATE SEWER HOSES? I have a tiny house with no holding tanks. The sewer hose is always in use.

Did you happen to try one of the diesel heaters (often called parking heaters)? They are cheap and people rave about them. I was thinking of buying one and I hope you have some experience with them.

I wondered about filling my fresh water tank. Thank you. I seem to remember needing to use it when there was a problem down the line and although the snow had melted. I still didn’t have water. The Rv park told me that I wouldn’t need to fill my tank, but after your video. I’m going to fill them up. Thanks!! From a devoted subscriber Ps I going to Colorado next week until February when my nursing contract ends
Make sure your carbon monoxide detector is working properly and don’t store stuff in front of it .
The buddy heater, I have my alarms on, without the windows opened while having that heater on, the alarm does goes off when it gets to warm. So as long as your alarm works to wake you up or leave a window cracked opened, it’s pretty safe as long as you can manage these.
My biggest concern is do you still need to winterize your rv if you live in it during the winter?

Not everyone can. I survived one winter. Going into the second. Housing market isn’t great for a single person in a middle class income… 🤷♀️
I bought a 90lb propane tank that helps a LOT in the winter. My regular tanks are only used for backup. I did have to do a little plumbing to make it work properly.
