Sherry Bell

Sherry purchased her first DSLR in 2008 and told herself she would learn to use her camera like a professional photographer. She chose to self teach and so her journey began, which has been a wonderful and rewarding journey of learning and learning. It is pure love for the beauty of nature that drives her to become better. Sherry thanks all those wonderful photographers who don’t even know their work inspired her to learn. “Still learning always learning and loving every moment because it draws me closer to nature.”

Sherry can’t really find the words to express her intense love for the beauty of nature and how grand and wonderful it is to capture its beauty so she chooses to share the words of William Hazlitt. “We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts.” A deeper meaning to his thoughts is; The first way we see nature is with our eyes. Then, we must take it deeper into ourselves. It becomes a part of our very thoughts and our very being. When you connect with nature, you open a path to your heart. That relationship becomes vital to you like any other relationship in life. For Sherry landscape photography has become a vital relationship of love and the constant awe of nature’s symphonic beauty.

Michael Bollino

Michael has spent the past twenty years photographing throughout the Pacific Northwest and the desert Southwest of the United States. Becoming a photographer was the natural result of many years spent exploring the natural world through backpacking, travel, and mountaineering. Michael’s photography focuses on capturing his experiences than turning them into art. He prefers to practice reactive photography wherein he moves through a natural area without a preconceived image in mind, then waits for visual inputs to inspire an idea for an image. He then photographs this idea. Michael finds this form of interactive photography personally rewarding as it more fully immerses him in the creative process and the incredible nature around him. Michael lives with his wife and son in Portland, Oregon.

Roberto Pavic

Roberto Pavic is an award-winning photographer who was born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1979. Roberto started out using the camera to document his private life. But when he combined some of his great passions, traveling, and photography, he started to create his own vision of the world. Because there is nothing better than waking up early in the morning, alone at some lake or in front of a huge mountain. To photograph all that is quiet and calm surroundings; mountains, forests, rivers, and lakes became his new “targets”.

His favorite places are Iceland, Dolomites, and Norway. Due to the current situation, though, he started to increasingly explore less famous Croatian places. His photographic style is characterized by dramatic landscape photos because he wants the viewer to feel the atmosphere when she/he sees his photo. Besides landscape photography, he is very successful as a concert photographer, which is something completely different. Instead of peaceful mornings, he chooses nights at crowded shows with aggressive music. Many world-famous bands have published his work.

Mikkel Beiter

Mikkel is 32 years old and has the past ten years been living in Copenhagen, Denmark. He works full time as an IT Coordinator in a small IT company. Mikkel picked up his first DSLR camera around 2007. It was a Canon EOS 1000d which he used for jobs covering the Danish nightlife, taking photos of people partying around in the nightclubs of Copenhagen. He did this a year or two during the weekends while studying to become an IT Technician. After a while, Mikkel lost interest in partying and taking pictures, so he placed the camera on the shelf for some years.

In 2013, he decided to volunteer on an environmental project out in the bush in Botswana where he stayed for 2 months. He brought his camera for the trip. Now he had a Canon EOS 7d. Mikkel took a lot of wildlife images and also random landscape photos. Nothing extraordinary, but his interest in nature photography was kindled. In 2016 he went to Lofoten in Northern Norway with his little brother and their father. For this trip, he had researched a lot about landscape photography, that is, how to do long exposures, plan for the light on locations, using filters, and so on. “So the goal for this trip was to visit the area and come back with some beautiful landscape photos, but it created a fire inside me and I have been in love with landscape photography ever since!” Today, he works with Sony Nordic as a Sony Alpha Pro Artisan, and his free time and holidays are often spent traveling to the Nordic regions of Europe to capture the gorgeous Nordic landscape.
