Anatomy of a Shoot – The Explorer

For portrait professional Paul Wilkinson the arrival in his studio of a real-life Italian explorer, with piercing blue eyes and a flowing beard to die for, was the perfect opportunity to set up a classic shoot that reflected some of the vintage shots from the Victorian era. Paul explains the thought process behind the shoot, details his lighting and reveals why he liberally sprayed his subject with water before pressing the shutter!
