Wedding & Portrait Workshop – get 20% Discount

The newly-founded Photography Retreat, created by established wedding photographer Fiona Elizabeth FSWPP FBIPP, is running its first event, a Wedding and Portrait Workshop, which will be held in the spectacular setting of Chiddingstone Castle in Kent on May 1, 2021. Topics covered will include how to define your style, building an image, incorporating an environment into your pictures, managing natural light using reflectors and diffusers and creating movement and texture within an image.

Numbers will be restricted to ensure high quality training and the emphasis throughout the day will be on practical shooting, with delegates being given the opportunity to work with the provided model and to use the glorious stately home setting to create images for review and portfolio use.

“With theory-led mornings, our workshops will be teaching how to read light and pose and bring in graphic elements to make a shot have that ‘wow’ factor,” says Fiona. “In the afternoon it’s also about the delegates taking that knowledge and creating killer shots themselves. We’ll be there to advise and guide, but delegates will set up the shots, not us. This way, they can walk away with a set of images they can call their own.”
