  • I can’t work overseas. Not everyone wants to work in the United States. Pretty useless to go into a career that will not help me once I leave the United States.

  • Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

  • Everyone needs to remember that the income is relative to the cost of living in the area. I know 50+ electricians and have worked in the field for 5+ years and nobody makes over 55k. She makes 100k because she lives in NY, not because electricians make a lot of money.

  • I wish I had gone down the road to become a master electrician out of high school. I spent 9 years becoming a pharmacist and I'd trade it in a heartbeat.

  • Is this video honest? I want to be an electrician but I havenΒ΄t decided which local I should go to and NYC seems to expensive even for an unionized Journeyman.

  • I love her story. I love seeing her get emotional talking about her first daughter. This woman got her GED but makes more than probably most people who graduated with a Bachelor's. Going to college is not the only way. I wish i had been told this growing up

  • I’ve never worked in a local in a big city like LU3, but it can be tough work too…just mentioning that bc she said she was going home sore and was doing tough work as a laborer lol

Still, glad to see the younger generations like myself out there getting it

  • 100k is also just her wage. She should have talked about the benefits package as well. Medical, annuity, pension, vacation checks etc… hands down the best part about being in a union trade. Total package she probably make 150k plus
