Hey Everyone, this is my friend Josh. He just completed a cross country road trip in his Sienna that he built out for only $300 in construction materials. He decided to add a fridge and battery which cost an additional $1,700. I hope you enjoy this new series on my channel, I’ll be featuring many more rigs built in a budget conscious manner. Thanks for tuning in! ~ Brian

  • There is a toyota sienna I am interested in maybe purchasing to do this. It's dirty! Needs a good clean…I am worried about mold. Suggestions?

  • What do you do when your car is down? Fly back somewhere like a friend's house until the shop is done, then come back and go?

  • This is my ideal renovation, thank you for sharing. I want to live in a Sienna for a few months before I move to a new city and this is inspiring to kick start the groundwork for a build.

  • Love your van setup. You dressed it out well without going overboard with extra add-on items. I have a full-on Motorcoach and a Chevy Conversion Van. Both serve different needs… BUT MY VAN IS MY "BABY ๐Ÿ˜‚" I love taking the van to places the Motorcoach can't get to. CONGRATS TO YOU ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค๐Ÿป๐ŸŽ‰! BE WELL AND SAFE TRAVELS ALWAYS.

  • I do love the Sienna vans…
    beautiful dog you have. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I know this is an old video but Im curious if there is a way to get the inner dimensions of the sienna. Im curious of how wide his mattress was.

  • Do you have blueprints of this for sale? Want to build it for my mom

  • My solution for overpacking? Hit up a post office and send it home. I once had a month trip that began w a 4 day family reunion. Sent all the reunion clothes home, then hit the road.

  • I missed the name of the โ€œsolarโ€ battery?? No solar panel, correct? Thanks guys!

  • Love your set up….safe travels ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  • Great build and attitude. " Life is about Being " AMEN Brother. Thanks for sharing.

  • What a great van setup! He is set to go anywhere. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • I just started watching ur channel and itโ€™s great that ur showing a minivan conversion! Iโ€™m wanting to start camping in my suv with my daughter and dogs in Colorado and Wyoming and Iโ€™m searching for ideas. Sienna looks great in this video. Youโ€™re doing a great job at keeping her healthy. I can tell you care for her so much โค. Your property is awesome too. Northern Arizona is beautiful!!!

  • I like this x a million. When he was talking about what heโ€™s learnt from this lifestyle I teared up because Iโ€™ve been binge watching van life for 5 years now and this is me 1000%. Thank you for sharing his build. I love it

  • Do you guys have any designs on the plywood sections of the build? Been wanting to do this for a while and haven't pulled the trigger. Cheers J

  • We love your Minivan Camper and thank you!!!โค๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  • How can I get the plans for the storage shelving and the bed and solar? I just purchase a Sienna 2012 Van. I am wanting to get it set up for camping.

  • Great video and very functional build. I enjoyed the relaxed pace. I have a 22 ft Class C and it is superbly comfy with full kitchen, large fridge, full bath, office, lounge, queen bed and climate control. But it is not stealth and hard to find parking sometimes. I like traveling with my small dog (best alarm system for danger too), and the RV is good for easier climate control. Not sure if a minivan could be easy to leave your doggo in for a couple of hours at the gym, etc. That would worry me.

This model of bed flips into a bench on both sides, so its perfect. This is the right way to build a minivan bed. Lovely tour. Thanks guys!

  • Hi Josh, do you have your own YouTube channel? I'm an old bat over in Oz and am planning my first mini camper build. โœ๏ธ

  • Really impressed with your indoor table / rear bumper table. What kind of metal channel or hardware would I search up for that? I may adopt that system in my build but not sure where to find that.

  • Pro tip for cutting reflectix: go on the vertical vs horizontal.. they will stay in the windows better (not bunch up and slide out). Also, cut about 1/2 inch bigger than your template. It shrinks AND the extra can be used to push into the crack where the window meets the gasket.

I love this bed/cabinet set up. Iโ€™ve been in myโ€™98 Sienna for up to 3 months with everything stored under my bed. Doable, but not ideal. Gonna check out Ericโ€™s build video.
    Thanks for the tour!

  • Was wondering if could transport a ac unit and hook it into the window and run it off a small honda generator

  • I just love the simplicity of this build! Can you tell me if I can purchase a futon bed frame in the size he has to fit the minivan, or was it a custom build? Thank you, and enjoy your adventures!

  • So awesome being able to just get away from the daily grind and they keeping up with the Joneses nonsense. Good for you ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

  • I was watching this whole build and loving it, but I kept thinking, where's the Icebox ? That thing is SO stealth ๐Ÿ™‚ I think my bed could be a bit narrower, to give slightly deeper storage depth…. But this really looks fantastic ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh, also, once you sleep in a Hybrid with climate control all night, you just have to have this. I LOVE the new Sienna Hybrids with AWD. Do all of this to it, and it would be my dream vehicle ๐Ÿ˜‰ Nice video. Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
