I already have a hughes watchdog installed on my rv. Would they interfere with each other. Do the sell just the soft start without the surge protector?

I installed a split unit AC in my RV. No noise, runs on 120. And DIY. Rv companies and AC companies are out to make money, not please customers. Like people who tell you to use dicore trash. Put more on morons..lol

Tried to order ! No luck, said no longer available for 30 amp. We have 30amp New Jayco 2023 Greyhawk .
I will make my own soft start before I spend $600 on this soft start. Also the fear factor of power surge does not work for me in your sales pitch. Hey I'm just being honest.

How do you keep this expensive unit from "walking away" at a campground? It should have some type of alarm that works with your cell phone, or even just a hidden switch on the unit, that goes off if it is pulled away from the power source without turning the alarm off first.
Can I connect to the 2200 Honda generator to run my 15 air conditioner
Would love it if they made it for a 15 amp home plug so you could run ac while moochdocking. And you’d still need soft start for solar use.

$899.00! Not on sale or $300 off right now! Who in the hell determines the price! Idk if they are bat sh*t crazy! Or smart as sh*t! Because people are buying them! I would love, love, love to have one of these. But I absolutely refuse to pay that much for an item that cost probably ⅛th-¼ of that cost to make. I'll wait for someone to make one of these thats not greedy.

I saw this item on the Wandering Weekends channel. I got excited because I was planning on installing soft starts on my AC Units individually. So when I saw this I was WOO HOO.
However, I bought this 30 AMP soft start up surge protector unit, and it's a huge let down. For starters, I have a residential fridge (no propane option). The thing about this "Soft Start Up" unit is, that it regulates the draw of everything in your camper. I run a box fan to help circulation of air, and wouldn't ya know, after plugging the soft start in and going through the steps, with my fridge, and the box fan and 1 AC, you can literally watch the box fan slow down and the blow fan on my AC (even though set on high) was blowing at "low" speed.
Using the App, I tried turning everything in the camper off and just ran the fridge (no option to turn that off) and the AC and just those 2 my amp draw was hovering between 26 and 28. So not a lot of wiggle room there for other things. I'm getting better results with a 30 to 50 dog bone with a normal surge protector.
Long story short, if you have a 50 amp RV with a Residential Fridge, this may not be the perfect option for you.
I can see a huge benefit for electric/propane fridge rigs.
So with the discount from WW channel I paid 600 bucks for something I probably won't use unless I'm mooch docking.

I've tried it multiple times with no luck. Different places and pedestals, including my dedicated 30 AMPS circuit at home and every single time I tried it, the SoftstartRV failed to start the second AC. While having only the 15K btu AC and drawing 16 amps, according to the App, I could not turn the 13K btu at all. In my case, it did not work for me. My two ACs are GE

They (Engineer) said this was tested in February and worked great … I’m saying not so much in 83 degrees in Summer. This is a $599 dud. Will be returning expecting full refund. Maybe another couple years and they’ll have it figured out.
Isn't 30 Amp service 30amps each leg? 60 amps total. Usually front rv will be on one leg and the back on the other leg.
