RV TYPES EXPLAINED – RVing for Newbies Ep. 1
Welcome to our brand new series – RVing for Newbies! In this first episode we’re going to explain all about the different types of RVs that are out on the market right now. There are a lot of options for weekenders and fulltimers alike, so let us help you navigate through all of the different types so when you start visiting dealers or shopping online you’ll know what you’re looking at. From huge Class A motorhomes to conversion vans, teardrop trailers, fifth wheels, and the hugely popular toy haulers, we’re covering it all!
We spent almost two years living and traveling full time in our Travel Trailer RV, visiting all of the lower 48 states and dozens of national parks. This RVing for Newbies series is our way of sharing everything we learned in that time and, more importantly, wish we knew back when we were getting started with RVing. Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss anything!

Thank you.
Could you please share if
1) people can be seated in towed RV while driving
2) any special driving licence type is needed to drive class C or above?
State : California
Thanks
This was great! Thank you!
Thank you!!!
Thank you! Just starting my research and this is the best vid I’ve seen! The pics help a great deal!
Thanks so much we have added this on our website for our clients that want to do RVing and not sure what to get, buy or expect. Thanks again.
Are you no longer full time RVing. Love your channel.
You're an amazing teacher
Good to know. Thank you!
Nice video man!
Excellent job putting that information together. Great for newbies 👍
If you like class C/ Van combo, ck out the P/U Trucks in front w/ attached Class C. P/U trucks are easier to service, compared to van cut away. In one of your video, you toured Class C/A, with tip outs open, try the same video with tip outs closed, as all of your traveling/ and brief stops, will be with Tip Outs pushed in.
This was a fantastic video!! I know nextto nothing about RVing, other than I keep thinking about how the freedom seems so appealing!! 😀
You touched upon so many options yet made it all clear and easy to understand, even those who may be less knowledgeable of the subject. I will go back and view your other videos now. I’ve also subscribed! Good luck to you all.
Great informative video. Thank you!
Very informative! I just watches a tour of a Thor Super C on here today & it was SO NICE!! I didn’t realize the difference between the class c & super c. Now I do! Ty!
Hi thank you for the video it was useful
Videos like this really do help out us newbies! I am an Architect that has been inspired by your Channel and we just ordered our new Teardrop Trailer! We also started a new You-Tube Channel titled "Solaris Architects" and was wondering if you can check it out and maybe mention us. Thanks again.
Echo in the new studio. But, much easier to hear without background noise. Thanks
Great Info, Thank you'
Don't forget about Hybrid trailers! Kind of like pop ups but the have way more space and functionality. We have a Forest River Flagstaff Shamrock 233S. It has three queen sized beds that fold down outside of the actual footprint of the trailer so the interior is dedicated to living space. They are great options for vehicles with lower towing capacities. I've really enjoyed your videos!
Great video
Fantastic studio!!! Great video with excellent breakdown of info!
When do you guys plan on shopping for your new rig?
Very informative video, Brian. The studio looks awesome! Great video! 👍👍
The advantage of a diesel pusher over gas Class A is more than just power. The air bag suspension makes for a smoother ride and basement storage is larger because with the rear engine, there isn't a need for a driveshaft running the full length underneath. You get better mileage but you pay more for fuel.
Very nice. Great info. Hope you will check us out at Roamingwithrover
About the best expalintion of RV’s I have seen! Great job

Love the new studio!
