Social Media Giants Suppress Viral Video Of Doctors’ Touting Hydroxychloroquine For Use Against COVID
Social media giants Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google have all censored a video on their platforms featuring a group of ‘frontline doctors’ discussing their opinions of the medical community’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The video shows a group known as America’s Frontline Doctors making questionable claims about the necessity of masks and the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in combating COVID-19.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) makes an appearance at the press conference, which was held in front of the Supreme Court. The event was reportedly sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots.
“This virus has a cure, it’s called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax,” one woman identified in reports as Dr. Stella Immanuel, claims. “You don’t need masks, there is a cure.”
Looks like all social media sites are removing the video of the doctors on Capitol Hill yesterday giving the very informative press conference.
Why can’t America have a second opinion?

Trump Jr. Suspended
Despite claims in the video, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says there is no specific antiviral treatment recommended for COVID-19. Other studies have questioned the effectiveness of the treatment.

Immanuel states that she has treated more than 350 coronavirus patients – including those with underlying ailments – and not one died after being given a course of hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax.
The video had amassed over 17 million views on Facebook prior to its removal, with President Trump sharing multiple versions on his Twitter feed.
The President’s son, Donald Trump Jr., actually had his Twitter account temporarily suspended for sharing the video and allegedly “violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”

Why Censor?
Immanuel has some odd quirks in her background according to the Daily Beast, but she is an actual physician at the Rehoboth Medical Center in Houston.
Why censor a video if those in them are doctors who just have different opinions? Since when did Twitter and Facebook become virologists?
“It’s wrong to sensor information,” Kelly DePrato, a citizen concerned over the censorship push states. “We have brains to decide if we agree or disagree.”
To that point, Dr. David Samadi, a board-certified urologist and former Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, believes patients have a right to a second opinion that supports hydroxychloroquine.
“I’ve been banging the drums about hydroxychloroquine for months now,” he tweeted. “Patients should be allowed to use the medication & can even sign a waiver if it’s necessary to shield doctors from liability.”
Samadi added, “We were using this medication for 60 years and no one ever made it a problem!”
The most important thing is to SAVE THE LIVES of the American people.
If hydroxychloroquine works, which there is a lot of evidence in its favor, then a patient should be able to take it if the doctor wants to prescribe it.
Government needs to stay out of this!

While social media giants are busy banning doctors they have determined to be less informed than they about COVID-19, nobody bats an eye when Dr. Bandy Lee, a Yale University psychology professor who has been criticized by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for using “arm-chair psychiatry,” joins with other ‘experts’ to declare the President unfit for office.
That, you see, is science!
Yale psychiatrist who briefed Hill Dems wants to physically restrain President Trump, force him to submit to evaluation, declare him unfit for office. But she worries: ‘This really will look like a coup.’ You think? From Vox: https://t.co/DfYTOCBNEl pic.twitter.com/t0453a3cY0

Lee’s twitter feed is riddled with misinformation and false claims. Yet, she has not been censored or suspended as Trump Jr. was. Her videos are still up.
Why not let the people decide who is right and who is wrong? Let them research all sides of the story. Censoring thoughts is not the job of social media companies.
