• I've tried the merch route, and I've come up zeroes on that. Finding the 'value' my channel adds other than entertainment is probably the toughest part. Focusing on 10x-ing that will be difficult until I learn what that value is. It certainly isn't branded merch, but lots of (very large) automotive youtubers seem to be banking well on that.

• We make and sell our handmade products. My patchworks skirts have really taken off and I can hardly keep them in my Etsy store and my husband makes hand crafted wood items from noodle boards to sock darners, bowls to rolling pins. It is a lot of work but these are things we love to do and our channel has helped us get our product out there

• I would like to see more gaming/entertainment specific videos about how to make money or other useful tips. I have watched tons of videos with tips and information for growing a youtube channel etc. but they are almost all about channels that have information to sell which are tbh a lot easier to grow and monetize. I would really like some tips on how to monetize entertainment videos, specifically gaming.

  I know I can do affiliate marketing, merchandise and fan funding. But those are not really useful for small channels I think.

• Excellent tips! I do affiliate links thru Amazon and Printful, as well as YT ads. I also sell shirts and other products I designed on an Etsy shop ( http://benaqua.org/shop ) that uses Printful as a dropshipping/print on demand service so I don’t have to spend $29363737 on shirt costs up front. It’s awesome! Thanks for making this video Tim!

I am struggling to come up with a good name for it since the name I originally thought of (FudgeMusic) has already been taken and I don't want to look the same as other people.
