Here are my Top 7 Tips to get your YouTube Channel noticed:

1. Know your target market
If you don’t know who your channel will appeal to it will be difficult to create the right content. If you don’t have the right content you’ll get very few viewers or subscribers.

2. Create attractive channel art
Make it easy for visitors to understand what your channel is all about when they first see the home page.

3. Correctly structure your YouTube Channel
Organize the different topics of your videos into playlists so visitors will keep watching related videos. This will also satisfy YouTube’s wishes which is to keep viewers on YouTube as long as possible.
Organize your playlists into sections on your channel home page so viewers can quickly view the video content they are most interested in.

4. Create videos with relevant content
One of the easiest ways to find content your target market is interested in, is to type your main keyword into Google or YouTube. You’ll see a list of suggestions to create videos for. Also look for questions your target market is asking and answer them in your videos.

5. Make engaging videos
People have short attention spans so your videos have to be engaging if you want viewers to keep watching all the way through.

6. Create engaging thumbnails
A thumbnail picture is displayed on Google and YouTube for every video you upload. Avoid using the auto-generated thumbnails created by YouTube. Instead create your own custom thumbnail so it stands out from all the other listings.

7. Promote your videos
Extend the reach of your audience by promoting your videos off YouTube. Promote them using social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest. Embed your video on your own website as well as Web 2.0 sites. If you have extra cash promote your video using adwords for video.

Here’s a bonus Tip…
Be consistent
Uploading one video every month is not going to get your channel noticed. Commit yourself to uploading at least one new video every week to generate a consistent stream of traffic.

There you have it…7 ways to get your YouTube channel noticed.

  • Hey I love your content, and I’ve been at for awhile. I’m not asking for a shoutout but a little support. I’m vlogger singer and musician and I’m passionate on making videos

  • Do you guys prefer a vlog channel like my new or shall I make a blog. Or do both

  • I do most of this stuff, but I still get very few views per video after 3 years of this bull

  • Thanks for the tips. I'm a gaming youtuber, and what I'm doing to get people to watch my videos, is engaging with other gamers on the game I play, as well as announcing live streams on Facebook.

I work hard to get a video up every day, I create my own thumbnails, and try to be entertaining!

  • I am a musician and I play piano, guitar harmonica, and sing. I also write original music. I recently created an Instagram account that I dedicated to my music only and am using that to constantly get followers. on Instagram I'm making an effort to make posts every day to say the most and 3 times a week to say the least. I'm trying to get at least 1 video posted per week on youtube but not any more than 2 per week as if you post too much content will be ignored I'm told which I think makes sense ? I'm also writing this comment so people notice I exist haha. thank you for this informative video though!

  • Guys please sub to my channel about NBA stuff and all. I'll sub to you guys as well. I sound like 9 in my vids but ignore that, it's worth it.

  • good job I only have 81 subs but most of them are inactive XD

  • post daily and a great video I liked thanks
