  • Try using shrink wrap on the door instead of electrical tape

  • Microwave hack: place a snug fitting section of pool noodle inside vertically between the turntable glass & top of the microwave. No jiggling!

  • Just simply ignored the romantic desire. Lol

  • The microwave, use pool noodles. Cut 3 of them to length from the glass plate to the top. Make sure its snug.

  • I always had a hide-a-key on all vehicles I owned. Have one on my tow vehicle and travel trailer and I’m not going to tell where it is either. Also our camper came with a number combination keypad for the door. When at a campsite we never need a key to the trailer. One advantage of a travel trailer over a motor home or class C is that you don’t hear the rattles and noise in the trailer when motoring down the road.

  • Paper towel hack: take one or two bungy cords, stick through the paper towel, and attach to your outdoor table or picnic table.

  • does govee go into usb or 12v?
izzy didn’t comment on your “ i’ll take romantic “
    😢😢😢

  • Cut down one of them rubber shelf liners and put it on

anything that slides like that little container and I won't move

  • MJ put a couple of sticky velcro strips on the bottom of your bedside holder and you don't have to remember to take it down when driving.

  • Just stick a little "museum wax" or Gorilla putty under that bedroom side table thing and it won't slide off anymore and you don't have to move it, but it can be if you want, plus the wax and/or putty can be reused many many times. It saves the worry of anything shifting in travel.

  • Those bottles of liquids under the counter could cause a spill disaster sitting them in a storage tote would catch any potential spills.

  • For the plate in your microwave, an easier fix is just to cut a section of a foam pool noodle to be slightly longer than the distance between the plate and the ceiling of the microwave. The pressure from the noodle pressing down from the ceiling of the microwave will assure that the plate does not rattle when you are driving, and you just take the section of noodle out when you are ready to heat something.

  • i like the microwave food storage idea for bread.

  • Hi!!! Love all the hacks. My Fav is the paper towels on the flag holder!!! I get in my golf cart and drive around the campground to relax my grandson and I check out all the rv’s. I’ve never seen this!!! So cool. That flashlight is also a weapon lol.

  • The accents lites are a great idea
What powers them? Are they plugged

  • We have an exterior storage compartment, that is vertical and deep. To access items in back, using a mechanic floor roller, need to pad wheels, used a bottle cap inverted & taped.

  • We have a vertical deep exterior storage space, use a mechanic floor roller to have access to item in back.

  • I use an empty paper towel roll, cut down to size so it nice and tight for my microwave plate. You can also use a pool noodle.

  • I like the Fumoto valves but I like the ValvoMax system better. With the Fumoto, i know highly unlikely but i just always felt like a stick or road debris might hit it just right & open the valve. The ValvoMax is a ball valve system. Just personal preference tho. Good video !

  • Great list of hacks. We put a length of hard density foam on top of the microwave plate vertically to ensure the plate stays in place.

  • Whaaaaaat?! Nooo! oil pan drain plug has a purpose besides being a plug. It’s also got a magnet at the tip of the plug that collects the metal that’s flowing in the oil from the engine wear. Ur going to wear down the engine faster with ur mod bec that metal will stay in the engine oil and circulate like sandpaper on wood.

You do have an oil filter as well that it’s purpose is to also take out contamination/metals from the oil but with ur mod ur eliminating 1 of ur 2 filters per say.

I’m no mechanic but I work on all my vehicles and that’s how I understand it.

  • Check out dollar tree’s 1 watt LED nite light. It’s got an automatic on/off switch. And is a great low level night light.

  • Another space saving tip: your microwave turntable is tempered glass which makes a great cutting board, serving tray, or even a turntable at your camp table…nice tips.

  • Someone mentioned MJ's bathroom cup hollder hack but I don't see what they are talking about. Could you please send me the info? Thanks!

  • Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the world was more like the RV community always willing to help each other

  • Thanks! You two are great. Very useful hacks. Especially like this noise reduction tips.

  • Loved this video. I have a couple tips to share. Use a clothespin to keep papertowels from unwinding. Also, we applied some Velcro to a Sucrets tin and hid it behind an outdoor panel. That is where we hide our keys. Also, apply some putty to the bedside caddy to keep it from moving. Love the videos. Keep RVing!

  • The paper towel idea is genius. One way to leave it in place over night, get a long piece of PVC pipe 6 or 8" diameter cut a groove in one end. B/4 going in for the night slip the pipe over the paper towels and slip an end cap over each end. No waste due to dew on surprise rain.

  • A microwave hack I use, is to cut a pool noodle and use it vertically cutting it to fit snug between the top of the glass plate/ carousel and the ceiling of the microwave. It only takes a second no more noise.

  • Just put something in the microwave any amount of weight will keep that from shaken even a little bit

  • I have a question? I went to tiny home living in a travel trailer that has two slide outs, do you recommend putting extra supports under the slide outs, as I have permanently setup my home to a septic system and cement slab. Thank you Donna from Michigan 🥰

  • I use a twin fitted sheet as a picnic table cover. So easy to wash it when I get home.

I use a Dollar Tree gardening kneeling pad when I need to be on my knees, connecting things up on my trailer.

  • After I bought my RV, I went to 5 different campgrounds around the state with no problem with my microwave. I tow a little T@B 320-S teardrop, so if anything rattles in it, I don't know.

Last month I traveled 2500 miles to Ohio, no incident. The last leg of my trip was 100 miles. When I got to my destination, I was surprised to see the microwave plate was shattered on the floor. Apparently the microwave door had opened, the plate fell out, then the microwave door closed. When I'm able to track down a replacement, I will definitely make sure I remove, wrap, and store it somewhere when traveling.

  • For the microwave, mine is a regular one. But i use a piece of pool noodle wedged in to hold the glass tray in place while traveling. Because not everyone has a place to put the tray
