Our RV was a mere four miles from the Pacific coast while camping in Florence Keller County Park in Northern California. We came to this site to visit the Redwood National and State Parks, but our proximity to the ocean made us crave a coastal exploration day. After seeing big trees it was now time to see big water and all the interesting sea creatures that inhabit the shoreline! Tide pools, epic ocean views at Wedding Rock, and agate rock hounding were in store for us at Patrick’s Point State Park!

  • Beautiful! Remember that sometimes some states it actually illegal to remove rocks or things natural to where there found. I get it I’ve done it too. 😂 I always enjoy the show!!

  • Such a fun video. I especially enjoyed David’s Sea Lion impersonation. 🐳

  • if you don't try you will never move forward. Be it pronunciation or taking adventures. You both are so refreshing and fun to watch. Don't change to suit anyone or anything. We out here are enjoying watching you both grow with your travels. I love seeing your Rotty. She's big for a female and such a great example for others to get introduced to the breed.

  • Great video work , Looks like you need to clean your sensor or lens you can see little question mark shape dust speck near middle of screen, Easy to see against blue sky

  • I hope you two sweethearts are going to visit Canada while RVing! I realize that most of Canada is going to be too cold for you from now until next Spring but southern British Columbia is gorgeous pretty much all year round!! It rarely snows in southern British Columbia and the temperature rarely dips to freezing. I haven't been there myself (I live on the East Coast,in Nova Scotia) but I have family & friends living in B.C.! I'm really enjoying your channel – I don't know what I'll do after I've binge watched all the episodes! LOL

  • With love … it’s “Ahh get”. Not “A Gate”. Xoxoxo …. and then I finished your video and you figured it out! Cute … and I’m also the one who never ever pronounces things properly. 💗💗

  • You guys create great videos. Love it! Keep it coming 😊

  • Welcome to cali!!! Nothing as alive as the Pacific Ocean! Love your videos. We have a converted SUV camper. There's free parking along the PCH in Malibu, also in Carlsbad ca if you come south.

  • I think what I enjoy so much about you guys is that you go out and have interesting adventures on a budget. Some of the RV bloggers are like watching "traveling with the Rockerfellers" with their mammoth rv's and fat wallets. You have fun the natural way.

  • TOO COOL! Thank you so much for this! This world we live in is so amazing!

  • I always thought 'agate' was pronounced 'aggit' not 'a gate'.

  • very fun to watch and beautiful place. you two get along together so well ! just found out about your channel. since me and my bf are planning to fulltime rv we find your channel very informative and encouraging. keep up that good work. your video editing is real good. thank you for sharing 😉

  • Sooo many nice still shots … if you had a decent still camera, you could make large prints & sell them… many 'craft shows' here in Fl do that…

  • Welcome to California. I've always loved living here. And barking at the sea lions is fun. We get them barking back at us. Enjoy!

  • Okay, I’ve never heard of this place but now it’s on my list of cool things to see! The sea lion imitation had me laughing out loud!! 😂😂

  • So glad you guys were able to experience the coastal region of California. We live in Southern California, and the northern portion of the state has so much beautiful coastline that it's hard to choose our favorite. We do love the Ft. Bragg/Mendocino area, which has many great beaches and tide pools to check out. There are many great camping areas as well, but it does get a little expensive camping along the coast. Keep up the great videos!

  • Aww, this made my heart happy! I (Rae) went to college at Humboldt State University and miss this part of California so much. The banana slug was almost the school mascot! My college friends and I loved running around those beaches and to Patrick's Point on the weekends. It's so beautiful and holds such a special place in my heart. Glad you guys got out there and enjoyed nature. Your b-roll truly does this place justice. Happy travels!

  • Be careful, you do know how bloodworms got the name? Them rascals suck blood right of ye before you know what hit you. You just fall over. It's sea anenemy. An enemy of the sea.

  • My wife and I have been to Cresent City. I was cold and over cast when we were there. If you haven't gone to far into Oregon yet. Check out the jet boat rides on the Rogue river at Grants Pass. Its called Hellgate excursions. You won't regret it.

  • Thats awesome guys wish i was still on the Pacific coast but im about ti get my Springdale fixed and then were off again

  • You kids should try Jededia Smith State park………

  • Hi guys. Since you two like banana slugs so much, try visiting University of California @ Santa Cruz. I went there. Our mascot is the banana slug. You can get all kinds of stuff with banana slugs imprinted on it — e.g. mugs / t-shirts / sweatshirts. Santa Cruz is a nice town to visit as well. Enjoy CA!

  • Great job guys we appreciate the information we are planning on head that way this fall.

  • Personally, I would rather meet someone who is curious and humbly teachable than someone who is a know-it-all. I think it is great that you guys don't know it all and are out there learning. Thanks for modeling that for others! Great stuff.

  • You know how much I love your openings with the video and music and you did it again…just beautiful. You also, really captured the beauty of the coast in that area. Thanks again for the wonderful video and the great sound effects. David you really have a talent for making animals sounds. Keep it up. 🙂

  • I enjoy watching. Good job. Just a little friendly advice if I may. You guys do the same as my wife and I do by finishing each other's sentences. It shows what a good match you are by knowing where the others thought process is headed. However, on camera it feels like your cutting each other off. I know it's hard to realize when your doing it, because your so comfortable. We were recently interviewed for our business and the director had a difficult time interviewing us together because we naturally talk this way too. Watching someone else do it helps me see what he meant. As cute as y'all are, it might be even better if you make an effort not to over talk the other. Good luck and happy travels.
