  • I have a 2006 Keystone Challenger fifth wheel. It has a Coleman airconditioner that had an Infrared remote. The remote broke and cannot be replaced now. Do I need to replace the control box and put in a wall thermostat? If so, what do I need to buy and how do I do the wiring through the walls (Iam new to this). Thank you. RCB

  • Where can I purchase another cover for the inside of my AC (looks like a vent cover)..?? Size for my 2009 is about 14"x8" Thanks again

  • You are so interesting and with some comical side too LOL….I recently purchased my first (used-)-2009 Keystone Ultra Lite Outback …I can't seem to push the AC breaker to stay on position..and the inside AC vent ( filter) cover keeps falling out….???any suggestions?? I haven't been able to run the AC since I got it back in May… I am using fans..to push hot air out. …HELP !!(LOL)

  • How do a turn on ac if doesn't want to turn on

  • Our first and worst was a Keystone (2011). I don't know if it was built on a Friday or what but it was awful. Our new one (2021) isn't much better but I'm pretty sure it was built on a Friday as they didn't install an ac vent in the extra bedroom-it was not a Keystone in case you were wondering. You have to really check them out thoroughly in order to catch the manufacturer's flaws. We still have issues. Buyer's please beware.

  • I have a question. In our class A coach, we have two A/Cs. With the doors closed, shades down and windshield covered. It only gets hotter during the day. A/C will be set at 69 and 70 and even if we’re gone for hours, we’ll come back and it’s hotter than when we left. At night it works fine though. Why is this?

  • Thank you for your information it helped me out a great deal any more information about ACs let me know thank you sir

  • Power to thermostat. Power to control module. No power from control module to AC. Even replaced the control module and still have the same issue.

  • 95° and it won't get below 80° and it constantly runs

  • I've got a sour/sweet smell coming out of the ac vents that keeps getting stronger. any suggestions?

  • If you're in the deep south and your camper is 30+ ft long you best have a 50 amp 2 ac unit coach. Otherwise frustration will be the word of the day on a 90 degree humid day.

  • I have that exact same unit and it’s not turning on at all I think it might be a bad thermostat what are your thoughts?

  • My AC sucks in my 2021 transcend 261BH. It doesn’t blow very much air out of the ceiling vents.

  • Have very little air flow coming through the ceiling vents .?

  • None of these rv air conds work very well at all, put a house unit in instead only way

  • I am a new long-term ER in an RV park in Pensacola Florida. I have a 2016 Keystone Premier bullet. My thermostat just has a choice of cool. Then you said it to your temperature. I am in an open space, no shade. Just moved here and currently is in the low 80s. I have the shades down during the day. I bought an inside thermostat. I have my air conditioner set to 74. Cannot seem to get the temperature inside down below 81. My air conditioner runs non-stop I'm afraid it's going to break down. I Am brand new to rving so I'm trying to figure all this out. Is this RV just not meant to live in long-term? It is just getting down into the 50s at night so now I have to figure out how to turn the heat on and maintain a temperature

  • The ac ports in the rear of my RV randomly stopped blowing out air. I can't figure out why

  • bought a brand new 2021 Hideout, I have to say its build quality is beyond poor. AC doesn't work even with shore power. Glue is coming off the walls, Just terrible over all unit.

  • Thanks for the good tips! I’ve heard that ACs work much better if you replace the usual black housing with a white one… any idea if that’s true or how much difference it makes?

  • Mine was icing over. Improper air flow across the evaporator coils. Why? I could actually reach my hand between the supply and return on the air conditioner. Covered that opening up with HVAC tape and now it cools like it should. It's a furrionn ac unit ss well.

  • My ducts in my camper are sweating ever heard of this or any cures for it??????

I could really use some help with this problem !

  • More vids with JR! Wooooo hoooo! You da man! Great explanation. I was doing everything but closing the dumps on the AC.

  • Hi there!! We have a Coachmen Catalina Sentara 2013 t.t. we just recently discovered our air conditioning is not turning running. I understand the whole turn it down to 65 and come back a few hours later. Also check and clean air filters and leave blinds and doors closed. And leave the ac on High. However, if I do this which will be tomorrow since now it is late, 10pm at night and the air STILL does NOT come one, what else am I supposed to look for? All my other electronic stuff turns on and works.
It was working fine except we were dropping a lot of condensation from it the other weekend when it was super hot. Could it have froze up? But it would have thawed out by now but still not working. Thank you

  • Great video. I did as you requested and it was cold after returning and the next day we went out to lunch and when we returned…..nothing but hot air. I checked the breaker, fuse and everything is good, but no cold air…..WTF I have had this unit out for only a few days and this happens….please advise

  • We have the wire mesh filters like in the video. Are they just as good as the cloth/cotton type filters or should I change them out? I know the mesh are nice because they can be washed off to keep clean.

  • Is there any maintenance we need to do on the top of the AC unit on the RV?

  • Great video. Going to show the wife. She expects IMMEDIATE cooling the first 15 minutes.
