Hotel room is probably the last place you should take your shoes off when you're walking around. That's kind of like taking your shoes off near the dump station if you don't want to walk through that stuff without your shoes on. Hotel room floors are like petri dishes don't let Sage play on the floor!

Better wash your stuff before returning to the RV . Bed bugs suck . 90% of All motels have them .

I enjoy you two; I was a part of the RV life for a few short years. I started with a Toy Hauler and then progressed to a 37’ Gas powered to a 44’ diesel pusher.

So here's one of my questions as a 35y/o saving up to RV full time…so say you have friends or relatives that feel the need to buy all kinds of frivolous things as gifts for birthdays and Christmas…heck, one of mine even does that for 4th of July, Easter and Valentines! So what do you do with those people? I kinda feel like I am gonna hurt their feelings by telling them "Listen, I live in an RV now and I simply dont have the space." or I kinda feel like I'd be being kind of…I dont wanna say greedy? Not sure if there's a word for it but you know if I started specifying things they can get for me if they must give gifts. Ya know like things that get used up quick. I dont know. How do you solve that? Do you just donate the gifts to Goodwill or something behind their backs to avoid hurt feelings?

Awesome video! We don’t have an RV but my wife and I have been watching videos of people living the RV life that we’re very hoping to join in 5-10 years. We visited an RV dealer last weekend for the first time and stepped into a real RV also for the first time in our lives — quite an exciting day for us 🙂 I’ve been trying to temper my rose colored glasses and this video gives great perspective. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for this video! My husband just medically retired from the military after 15 yrs last month and Im 9 months pregnant with our first baby. The logistics of our original plan to sell our house and relocate to live closer to family and in a warmer climate have proven to be very difficult and expensive. We have been talking about fulltime RVing for 2 or 3 yrs giving us time to transition and travel with less urgency. It's a golden opportunity- but admittedly I go from competely "on board" to terrified on a daily basis. Your video helps reassure me that while there will definitely be some lows and hard learned mistakes, there will also be amazing memories and experiences that we would never experience otherwise. Thank you!

Thank you for this! This is my goal!! My grandparents did this when my grandpa retired. I thought at that time, how cool it would be. Now 20 years later, I'm getting ready to go through that door. I'm so excited!!

We were raised to never wear our outside shoes in the house: Not at home, grand-parents, friends, etc..For one thing because shoes are dirty and two, it’s a sign or respect for the person who cleans the house. 😊
    P.S. I love your smiles 😁

Hi you two! It's Dave again in Raleigh, N.C. I just finished watching your nine month video made in the motel room and talking about all the things RVing has ruined and made you appreciate. I'm not able to travel in my old Bounder (33 yrs. old and still going strong!) but as I believe I've mentioned in an earlier comment I do a security thing at a friend's tire and machanacal shop on the weekends. I'm there three days per week and the rest of the time (durring the week) I'm at the theater in the parking lot, boon docking.
At the shop I'm plugged in and I have the water hose from the building hooked up. I watch TV and run multiple lights on the 120 volt system, so by the time I pull out on Monday mornings at 5:00 am before the start of business my water tank is full and my batteries are at full charge and I'm ready for another week in the lot of the theater.
When I'm at the theater, just like you I'm trying to practice a water and power discipline, so as not to come up short on either while I'm not hooked up. That means that I have to be able to entertain myself without the television and while I do listen to my stereo I don't use it for hours on end. Being in this parking lot has been great for getting me reading again and I tend to give my little dog, Bella more better quality attention. I'd run my generator more, but it's hard to justify burning all that fuel just to watch TV. So, as you can see living full time in an RV has a similar effect on me as it does you, but on the weekends I watch my local and national news (like you, John) and then I switch to the animal and travel shows and then "Grit TV" which shows nothing but those old cowboy movies that we've all seen so many times before so that if I have to cook or take out the trash or clean, etc. I don't feel as though I'm missing anything. That way while I'm plugged in I can enjoy the TV and still get done what I have to! TV is okay as long as it's not an addiction that you can't live without. At least that's my feeling, anyway.
I really enjoyed the video. It's Tuesday, November the nineteenth and, of course I'm at the theater today. I have a computer, but I usually watch you on You Tube on my phone, a reasonable alternative to the one eyed monster and I always give you a like, reguardless of whether I've seen it beforehand, but John, it's alright if you watch the tube as long as it doesn't interfere with the honeydo list or playing with your beautiful daughter! Tell 'em Dave said so!
Haven't seen a new video since you announced that you're taking a break. Hope it won't be too long before you're back. I really like your channel. You've probably gathered that from all the wacky comments. Take what time you need … we'll all be right here waiting for you! Peace and loads of blessings!

In the seconds before death, no one remembers their “prized” possessions. They remember the best moments places and people that made their lives unique. Things can’t make you happy……experiences do

Hey guys just wondering if you made a decision on outting the trouble makers or not ? Y'all are such nice people I hate that people do good people like that and that's why. You have to expose them so other RVers can be awear either way hope you don't let you tube or haters cause you to pack up and go home you have many subscribers many fans many friends
