Great Hasselblad webinar interview with David Stanbury.

Having photographed nearly 1,400 weddings, award winning wedding and portrait photographer David Stanbury, and his wife and fellow photographer Jane, offer a classic style of wedding photography in some of the most stunning locations; from stately homes in their home country of the UK, to ceremonies on the side of a mountain in the French alps and a beach in Sri Lanka.

David’s accolades include over 300 International, National & Regional awards, and he has also previously been a two-times Finalist in the Wedding category of the Hasselblad Masters.

With a medium format camera once the staple of all serious wedding photographer’s kit bags in the analogue era, David’s use of the H4D-50 and X1D cameras helps to set himself apart from his competition and offer high-quality images to his clients, and he also utilises digital medium format for the other side of his business – a successful family portraits studio.

To help mark the start of the summer wedding season, during this webinar we spoke to David about how he incorporates the use of Hasselblad medium format at weddings and the benefits this provides his business, and how he is looking forward to getting back behind the camera after a year of social distancing restrictions. As usual, there was the opportunity to ask related questions as part of the live presentation.
