The Living World Photography Competition – Winners Announced

Phil James winning image entitled ‘Red Deer’

 The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers have announced the winners of the Living World Photography Competition.

Phil James from West Midlands, England, was chosen as the winner. Phil has won 12 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP) organisation. Phil gives us an insight into the winning imag: “Wow, many thanks! That is amazing news! It was taken up at Alvie Estate in the Cairngorms, Scotland – on a very cold day!! Equipment was Canon 1DX2 and Canon EF 600mm f4. Technical details ”f/4.5, 1/250 second, ISO 250.’’

Colin Jones The Societies Director says, “Congratulations to Phil on winning The Living World Photography Competition. The lovely wintery image of a Red Deer represented the competition well and is a deserved winner.’’

2nd place was awarded Kevin Pigney from Cambridgeshire, England and 3rd place went to Paul Smith from Suffolk, England.
