How to Get Monetized on YouTube Fast (1000 Subscribers and 4000 Hours in 1 Month)

I recently started a new, separate YouTube channel that was able to get monetized, fast. In this video, I’m going to show you exactly what I did to get 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours in exactly 1 month.

Results will vary, of course, but after 12 years on YouTube, I knew that starting this youtube channel with what I know would give me the best chance to make it happen fast, and I’m happy to pass on these 5 tips to you.

  • I started Oct 10 and I just got monetized Dec 7!!! thank you so much 🙂

  • i hope everyone who see this, gets famous on youtube

  • My YouTube channel isn't popping up in searches… Why please? 😧😧😲

  • I think we can all agree that it also helped you because you were already known. but Great Tipps tho👍

  • 1 month since launching the channel
    but heaps of work beforehand
Goes to show how important research is

  • I'll tell you one thing most of these people use shortcuts and never share just know that.

  • I just got started with my own YT channel and I think I have a good niche. However, I'm a bit camera shy and I don't feel as confident as you do talking in front of a camera. I noticed that many YouTubers tend to talk with their hands and choose to stay off camera. Do you think this is a good approach or should I make an effort to appear on camera? Do you think appearing on camera increases the number of viewers?

  • As soon as I saw the hoverboard and self-lacing McFlys, you had my complete attention! 🙌

  • Makes sense another impactful video thank you so much. And congrats on all of your success. You’ve worked hard for it 💯👋🏽🙏🏽

  • Really this is an amazing video for me thanks. I'm a Nigerian YouTuber trying to hit my first 1k subs

  • I had no idea who you were when you joined my stream last night but when I found out who you are I was so shocked! You earned my subscription haha, thank you for the excitement! I like your advice too and definitely plan to try your recommendations out!

  • Its crazy how helpful your videos are!

  • I can remember someone thinking I was being rude asking about how much you made on youtube

  • This is the BEST youtube advice I ever heard on growing fast organically. THANK YOU PAT! #TEAMFLYNN

  • Exactly what I mention in my videos too.. try to add something different and create that ahaaa moment that makes people click that red button on your channel ✌🏼💪🏽

  • Am I the only one that didn’t new he had another channel haha I knew him for the Pokémon cards channels

  • Hey Pat! I have followed your podcast for years now- and I just found this video. Having recently launched my watercolor + textile design channel! I love your tip to hold people's attention until the end of the video- in a way a fine art videos inherently do his- but I will be looking for more ways to get involved in the visual arts community on instagram to balance out my love for business growth, and Reiki videos.

  • Great video! I started 5 months ago from scratch, but I've collected Pokemon for almost a decade. I have a passion for collecting Charizards, and felt like that was my niche. It is the one pokemon that got me into collecting in the first place. I am still painfully learning how youtube works. I'm doing my best to put the audience first. I remember what Mr.Beast said in an interview, it's simple all youtube cares about is people clicking your video AND watching it. If no one watches your video, then youtube cannot make revenue from the advertisement. I just feel I'm still doing everything wrong or just all about the growing pains of making mistakes along the way. I think it may be because of my novice video editing skills, personality or just haven't got the one big hit video I guess. I'm still trying to get the best setting from my yeti microphone, and still cannot get that crisp voice like professional YouTubers for example. I do believe what you said, quality over quantity or "Different is better than more"!

  • Can you hurt your long term progress by not retaining people with the first 10-20 videos you make? Does YouTube Mark you off their list permanently?y

  • How much time did you put into commenting and participating on forums a day/week?

  • Lots of solid advice their Pat, backed up by actually doing it. Thank you for making the video, and giving us something fresh, rather than churning out the same old stuff. 👍

  • Bringing some value to everyone you can think off in your niche is something I hope to be able to apply as often as possible. Thanks for this great video 🙂

  • Mate you sir are a champion. Have always loved your OG content (here) and being able to now follow DPM and the success is just so inspiring! Love what you do Pat! Thanks for showing us how we can do it too!

  • Hey Pat – have you ever thought of doing a test of starting a new channel in a separate account where people wouldn't know it was you, not telling anyone about it, not using your name at all, not using any advertising budget, etc. Just pure from scratch like a normal person and see what results could be achieved? I think that would be a more legitimate test.

  • Hey Pat, great advice as usual. Especially for someone like me just starting out on YouTube. Although it reminded me that I got a Charizard in a pack back in 1998 when I was 6 years old. Kept it in great condition but about ten years later my younger brother took it into school and lost it alongside most of the other cards me and my other brother had collected. Still haunts me to this day.
