It’s the day before our dog Sweetie’s birthday, so what better way to celebrate than to take her on a hike?! She loves meeting people on the trails and exploring all the new smells a hike in nature brings. So we decided on a fairly easy 2.6 mile round trip hike through Fay Canyon with a nice scramble at the end.
Unfortunately there are prescribed forest fires nearby which are belching smoke into our campsite and the surrounding Coconino National Forest and Sedona, Arizona. The smoke is so thick in the air it blocked the sun from our solar only allowing 50% power generation. Also, an air quality alert was issued recommending against exercising, but that won’t stop us or Sweetie! Check it all out in the video below:
