Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Aspen & Pine Trees” by Gene Putney. Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

“In early October, the park had its first snowfall of the season with about 6 inches of snow,” says Putney. “On this day, the aspen trees were about at their peak autumn colors and the pine trees were freshly coated with snow. It was the perfect combination for varied landscape photography opportunities.”
